The best way to track assignments, access links and get updates is throughmy google classroom pages. Below are the links to the pages for my English classes and Homeroom. I check emails frequently throughout the school day, and this is the best way to get in touch with me. I am not able to check emails after 3 PM consistently, but will get to them the next school day. If you have questions about assignments or miss a lecture, I plan on recording my Google Meets instruction and posting it to Google Calendar for students to access at a later date.

Professional Biography
I graduated from the University of Washington in 1993 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature. After coaching football for two season at Tumwater High School, while attending the UW, I realized I enjoyed the energy and enthusiasm of working with kids. I returned to school the following winter, attending Washington State University. I graduated from WSU in the spring of 1994 with an Education Degree in English and History. While I did attend both rival state universities, I am a Husky, much to my families' chagrin. The next fall I began teaching English at Tumwater high school. In pursuing my best self, I earned a Masters Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from City University in 1996. 1997 brought about another change when I transferred schools and helped open Black Hills High School. I have been a proud member of the Black Hills High School staff since the doors opened in September of 1997.

In addition to teaching English, I am currently the head football coach at BHHS and in the past I have coached soccer and wrestling.
